The Last Chance is set in a Californian Desert where a woman living without a dream meets a man who lives by his dreams. When faced by their Last Chance, the choices they make could destroy what was or they could discover a glowing future.
A con man on the run from a vicious gangster takes cover by assuming the identity of his prison cellmate, Pete, reuniting with his estranged family, that threatens to drag him into a world just as dangerous as the one he's escaping.
Bad bad TV (generally I like bad TV but this is just awful)
Aiming lower than Reno 911 I think Titus shot himself in the foot with this one. While I like Titus' humor, this show is not the vehicle for him - it plays on all the "common bad cop/detective" clichés, poorly. In his attempt to make something that will offend everyone I think he went too far to the point that it is painful to watch and so formulaic/predictable that it is not funny. It is Titus playing Titus as a renegade detective, at least he gets a cool car...
Now it was just the pilot but IMHO even Comedy Central is not that desperate for new programing - they could run the Daily Show from 3 years ago and it would get higher ratings than Special Unit ever would.
I watched Ishtar years ago just to see how bad the movie really was - trust me you need not see this - it is almost as bad as Ishtar.
Better luck next time Titus.
