Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The opening scene with the stunt biker in Seattle Washington city happens as the earthquake rocks the city and the stunt biker is seen riding his bike during an earthquake dodging falling buildings riding over cracked roads, a man gets out of his car and runs as the telephone pole falls on his car, the biker looks up at the Seattle Tower which cracks and the biker races to escape it only to have lean over and fall on him, it's unknown if the biker survived the building crash or not.
  • There is a scene where the second earthquake crack causes the railroad tracks to fall into the cracks and causes the train to crash in the crack. It's unknown if the people in the train have survived or not or if they have been rescued.
  • The earthquake sequences can get very intense.

Violence & Gore

  • Governor Carla Williams gets caught in the earthquake in the bathroom and she tries to escape in the hallway but her friend Rachel saves her from the building collapse. They are later trapped and bleeding. Rachel is badly injured and later dies, but Carla who is injured survives as the rescue team saves her and is on the hospital bed.
  • Roy Nolan, FEMA Director gets his body pinned and trapped with a nuclear warhead underground as he tries to enter the code on the warhead. He later sacrifices himself getting blown up as the sixth nuclear warhead kills him.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There's a golden gate bridge scene in San Francisco in which the earthquake shakes the bridge and then the suspensions collapses and then the bridge with the cars falling into the ocean.
  • Amanda and Clark are seen at the bridge that has broken off, her father Clark goes down the ravine to investigate the wreckage. He hears country music and digs the ground and discovers dead bodies of people inside the buried truck.
  • Amanda and Clark both get caught in the quicksand in the truck and Amanda panics as she and her father struggle to escape their truck that's sinking fast in the quicksand. They barely escape out of the sunken truck with their lives.
