Funny film, with a very twisted view of trying to deal with the Devil.
Rewind time back to November of 1954. A young, talented, but unknown performer meets with a shadowy figure near a railroad crossing, signs a contract, and celebrates as the shadowy figure drives away. Speeding ahead to November 2002, the Driver (Clive Owen) and James Brown (as himself) attempt to renegotiate the contract that James Brown agreed to back in 1954 - Fame and fortune for James Brown's soul. The subsequent negotiations are funny and the ending is hilarious as Clive Owen and James Brown try to outthink the Devil (Gary Oldman) and his minion (Danny Trejo).
