Here's my opinion on what should have won:

Best Picture: A Beautiful Mind

Best Director: Robert Altman (Gosford Park)

Best Actor: Russell Crowe (A Beautiful Mind)

Best Actress: Sissy Spacek (In the Bedroom)

Best Supporting Actor: Ben Kingsley (Sexy Beast)

Best Supporting Actress: Jennifer Connelly (A Beautiful Mind) OR Helen Mirren (Gosford Park)

That's just my opinion, though.
