The wanted criminal Riddick arrives on a planet called Helion Prime, and finds himself up against an invading empire called the Necromongers, an army that plans to convert or kill all humans in the universe.
Left for dead on a sun-scorched planet, Riddick finds himself up against an alien race of predators. Activating an emergency beacon alerts two ships: one carrying a new breed of mercenary, the other captained by a man from Riddick's past.
Veteran-turned-mercenary Toorop takes the high-risk job of escorting a woman from Russia to America. Little does he know that she is host to an organism that a cult wants to harvest in order to produce a genetically modified Messiah.
Xander "XXX" Cage is a thrill seeker who until now has been deemed untouchable by the law. NSA Agent Gibbons forces XXX to cooperate with the government to infiltrate an underground Russian crime ring, and avoid going to prison. Gibbons sends XXX to enter this world of crime undetected where others have failed, using his natural athletic prowess and a whole lot of attitude. Xander must combat an organization led by a clever, ruthless and nihilistic Yorgi whose first target is the city of Prague.Written by
When Xander is captured by the Americans (after skateboarding down the railings on a dessert tray) he is taken into a concert hall. The exterior shot is of the Rudolfinum Concert Hall in Prague, however the interior shot is of a completely different building, the Prague National Theater (notable for it's red velvet seating). In addition, on the director commentary, the director explains how that theater (the National Theater) is where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart premiered "Don Giovanni." This is also incorrect as that opera premiered at the Estates Theater, another theater in Prague but not pictured in xXx. See more »

Up until 2017, all UK versions of the film were cut by one second to remove a head-butt to secure a 12A/12 rating. The BBFC waived the cut to the theatrical version on January 5th 2017 for its 15th anniversary Blu-ray release.
The director's cut had the cut waived when submitted in 2005, but the release itself is still (pointlessly) censored, even throughout Europe as the same master was used. Although it carries an overall 15 rating, this is only due to bonus features - the film itself is a 12 as per the theatrical version. See more »
I would not dare to insult anyone's intelligence. With that said let me add, this movie will not insult yours, if you see it with the right attitude. Adrenaline pump set for full tilt boogie. This is not an intellectual movie, it is not a love story, and it certainly is not Rambo. What it is, is a series of action shorts connected by a common thread that is very much in vogue. Good guys vs. bad guys/terrorists and in so doing, overcome insurmountable odds to, 1. Do the " right thing " 2. Save the day, 3.Have a hell of a time doing it and 4. GET THE GIRL! If, you expect anymore than that, you will be disappointed. So, turn off you brain and enjoy the ride. If you enjoy extreme sports, action genre movies and bad guys with eastern european accents, sign up get ready to party. This is your movie! Oh, btw. Make sure you see this movie in a theatre that has GREAT sound. You will be rewarded.
