Based on the character from the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry novella, when the little prince isn't tending to the baobab trees and volcanoes on his tiny planet, he's catching a passing shooting star, usually with his butterfly net, and traveling to other worlds. Each episode he hitches a ride some place, usually Earth, where he meets and adventures with a person (or creature) and all involved learn a lesson or two. And when the next shooting star passes overhead, the little prince flies back home alone.Written by
this was a sweet series based on the book the Little Prince. The little prince lives on his planet with a rose girl. He also has 3 volcanoes , one extinct, and some baobab trees. The little prince does get lonely with no one to talk to so he catches a flaming comet down to his favourite's planet- earth. He is always on the search for new and exciting adventures.Sometimes he has a companion on his travels, his friend, Swifty the wise and witty space bird. This cartoon was a joint effort between Germany,France and Japan , the animation is a bit basic but for a cartoon with an obviously low budget it is not that bad. This is basically for small children but adults can enjoy it as well.My wife really enjoys it.The little prince grows on you and might inspire you to read the book
