Goofs

A clip from Mother's Day of Tiana Pierce with blonde braided pigtails stabbing someone with an electric carving knife is mistakenly credited to the horror documentary Don't Scream: It's Only a Movie!, perhaps partly because Mother's Day was featured in Don't Scream: It's Only a Movie!. See more »

Quotes

[first lines]
John Carpenter: Fear is the most powerful emotion in the human race and fear of the unknown is probably the most ancient, so you're dealing with stuff that everybody's felt from being little babies: we're frightened of the dark, we're frightened of what we don't know about; and if you're making a horror film you get to play with the audience's feelings.

Lacking in substance
25 January 2001 | by C. M. O'BrienSee all my reviews

Documentary on horror films of interest for the appearance of veterans of the horror filed, notably the late Robert Bloch. Never really goes into much detail and shows a bias towards gorier films especially the British variety. The narration by Christopher Lee is a definite plus, however.
