Don't waste your time
genregirl25 September 2004
I only watched this film because of Callum Keith Rennie, but even his presence wasn't enough to hold my interest in this very routine 'thriller', a title it is hardly worthy of.

The acting is mostly wooden, the 'villain' a total caricature, and the ending completely predictable. Nicole Eggert does what she can, but she doesn't have the acting chops to rise above such a mediocre script. Timothy Bottoms veers wildly between gnawing on the scenery and obvious disinterest, while Callum tries hard to begin with, but by the end even he looks like he's wondering how to get the hell out of there.

My advice; don't waste your time. There are much better movies out there than this. Go watch one of those.

E for effort

Another locally produced film from Saskatchewan, this one filmed almost entirely in Saskatoon. This one has a bit more linear plot and was fairly easy to follow. Very well shot, good cinematography - I got to play my game of "spot the location" again. Overall, not Oscar material... but satisfactory.

One of Rob Kings best works

As I watched this production unfold in Downtown Saskatoon I was not sure what the result would be. I was pleased and enjoyed the film very much. It has a cast that put a great deal of effort into their roles and appeared to enjoy the film they were working on. The City of Saskatoon went far out of their way to help this production and it shows. The combination of Rob King(director) and Anthony Towstego (Producer) is a powerful thing. Keep up the good work. I'm proud to see this industry working in Saskatoon.
