Ciao Italia: Live from Italy
20 December 2017 | by mellowmode10See all my reviews

This was a great show but there are problems with where the footage was taken from. It's odd when you have the title Ciao Italia and then find out on the internet that the opening footage was taken from Tokyo, Japan. The skyline at the beginning is Tokyo and the stadium is a baseball stadium in Tokyo.

So what happened to Torino? Torino is a beautiful city and it was in 2006 that they had the Winter Olympic Games at the stadium where Madonna performed and filmed this show.

So what happened to the original footage for this show remains a mystery. It would have been great if the opening footage had been the skyline of Torino, Italy and not from Tokyo, Japan.

Torino is the Italian name for Turin.
