Crazy Credits

During the credits, the puppets and children would sing several verses of the song while hostess Shari Lewis would try in vain to stop them. They would eventually leave (on her urging), even while beginning a sixth verse (which eventually fades away). Then the puppet character Charlie Horse would return and try to get to sing the song again. But Shari, however, stops him successfully. She puts her hand over his mouth (keeping him from singing it again, before he tries to get to sing it) and orders him to "go away". Charlie Horse does leave but slams the door before Shari could tell him to not slam it. After the door is slammed, she faces the audience with an exasperated expression (but at least is now in peace and quiet with Charlie, Lamb Chop, and the group gone). See more »

lam chop
10 May 2006 | by coolteen388See all my reviews

I grew up watching this show and i enjoyed it every day. i watched it on apt every day after school. lam chop was a great show and i learned so much watching the show. i wish i could find the show on DVD and watch all of them over and over again. i loved this show so much. i hated to see it go off the air but every great show must end some time. this show helped keep me out of trouble and enjoy my child hood more and more. i will never forget this show and the joy i got when i heard the lam chop theme song. when i heard it it made me happy. i am happy to say that i remember lam chop's frequent saying " sad is bad but happy is cool" or something like that. the show never stopped making me smile and send enjoyment in my day and it always brightened my day every second i watched it.
