Woefully inadequate low-budget comedy about loser lounge singers Sam Rockwell and Steve Zahn who are mistaken for professional safe crackers by mobster Michael Lerner. So they decide to go along with it, all the while showing they have absolutely no idea what they're doing. After a muddy minded pre-credits sequence this settles down into a pretty dull and passable effort that's crammed with many attempts at "hip" rambling conversations and is sadly lacking in laughs. The cast does okay (Zahn is always cool), but they're stuck in a total misfire. * 1/2 out of ****.
