Rob Zombie Has Officially Been Immortalized as a Funko Pop! Figure

Rob Zombie Has Officially Been Immortalized as a Funko Pop! Figure
Rob Zombie is the latest icon to get the Funko Pop! treatment. The prolific musician and director has been prominent in the pop culture landscape for the better part of three decades and has produced art that truly resonates with massive swaths of people all over the planet, be it through White Zombie, his solo music career, or his movies like House of 1000 Corpses. That being the case, Zombie seems more than deserving of the distinct honor of being immortalized as part of the popular toy line.

The reveal was made by Rob Zombie personally. The metalhead turned filmmaker, whose latest 3 from Hell is set to arrive in theaters this fall, took to Instagram to reveal his Pop! figure. Perhaps as much as anyone has ever looked like themselves in Pop! form, Funko truly nailed the look here. Zombie had this to say in the caption he provided with the photo.

Every Alan Moore Movie, Ranked According To IMDb

If you ever saw Alan Moore in the street, you might walk in the other direction. But for over thirty years. Moore has been taking his unique curmudgeonly style to all kinds of popular heroes, crafting marquis stories like “Whatever Happened To The Man Of Tomorrow?” For Superman. He’s also created quirky superheroes for Marvel like Captain Britain. He helped to reinvigorate, along with Frank Miller, The Batman in “The Killing Joke.”

His greatest works though are his original takes on the superhero genre and his maxi-format sagas like Watchmen, V For Vendetta, and From Hell. He helped reinvigorate Swamp Thing for DC. He has won countless awards over the years and is loved by plenty of comic book fans world-wide. The guy just doesn’t like his work being adapted for the screen. He has always insisted that his stories should exist only in the medium that they were first presented in.

‘The Kitchen’ Filmmaker Andrea Berloff Is Interested In Tackling ‘Batgirl’ If The Job Is Available

On the surface, you may not realize that “The Kitchen” is based on a comic book, but like other comic book adaptations like “Road to Perdition,” “From Hell,” and “The Fountain” (just to name a few), “The Kitchen” may not have anybody in capes punching bad guys but does have its roots in the same medium as Spider-Man and Batman.

Rambo V: Last Blood Meets 3 From Hell In Incredible Fan Trailer

Hot on the heels of the Rambo V: Last Blood vs. Godzilla: King of the Monsters mashup trailer, we now have Stallone taking on the 3 From Hell gang. It’s easy to see why JoBlo Horror decided to throw together the two previews as Rambo From Hell, as both promise heaps of violence, albeit with Rob Zombie’s effort likely to have more black humour. Given the brutal tone of the Rambo V: Last Blood tease though, it’s certainly going to compete with 3 From Hell in terms of action.

The fan trailer begins with Last Blood‘s reintroduction to John Rambo, as Stallone’s character gears up for another, potentially final, mission. In this take, though, it’s the gruesome Firefly family who are behind Rambo’s tragedy, with the video splicing his voiceover into footage of the clan. Credit also to the trailer for finding some suitable

From ‘American Psycho’ to ‘Charlie Says,’ Mary Harron Is the Psychopath Auteur

From ‘American Psycho’ to ‘Charlie Says,’ Mary Harron Is the Psychopath Auteur
Mary Harron speaks about Charles Manson with the detached empathy of a psychiatrist. In discussions with Matt Smith, who transforms wildly from the Prince Philip we know and love to hate on “The Crown” into the famed cult leader in “Charlie Says,” Harron’s new film, the director emphasized Manson’s tough upbringing. Manson was institutionalized from a young age, having “grown up in prison” from the age of 12. He was raped and beaten up due to the fact that he was “small and weedy.” Her insights about him are intensely precise, displaying an almost intimate knowledge of this larger than life figure’s innermost psyche.

“[Manson] learned to survive by manipulating others,” said Harron. “He was, in some ways, completely feral. He was animal in his instincts, because he’d grown up, for the vast majority of his life, in a place of danger. And so, like a wild animal,
