Megatron at one point calls Tarantulas "Unicron's spawn", referring to the planet-eating ultimate evil Transformer introduced in The Transformers: The Movie (1986). Though this was intended as a mere jab, many fans took it literally, causing much confusion, and Tarantulas' supposed tie to Unicron was even touched on in the Japanese Beast Wars Universe book. "Beast Wars: Transformers" was a really good show. I watched it on WB for a little while a few years ago on weekday mornings and Sundays. My favorite character was Rattrap, he was really cute and I loved his voice. I also liked Cheetor. He was also cute and pretty cool.
My favorite episodes were: "Spider's Game","Chain of Command", "A Better Mousetrap", "Coming of the Fuzors (1)", and "Coming of the Fuzors (2)". These episodes are classics.
Overall I really enjoyed "Beast Wars: Transformers" for the little while I watched it. It was followed by a great sequel "Beast Machines" which I also watched. I suggest anyone who likes action to watch this show and I give it 9/10 stars.
