Sex & Nudity

  • In the very beginning of the film, Max has a dream and sees the girl that he has a crush on; Roxanne. She is wearing a seductive dress that reveals much of her thighs. One shot is focused on her buttock underneath the dress. No nudity is shown. She almost kisses him.
  • Max is shown in his underwear briefly.
  • A little girl runs down a shopping aisle without her diaper. We see her bare butt for a moment.
  • Goofy and Pete are shirtless in a hot tub.
  • Both Max and Roxanne kiss each other on the cheek once (at different points in the movie).
  • Max kisses Roxanne on the lips that lasts 2 seconds at the end of the film.
  • All the girls (Roxanne and the three dancers that Max bumps into during the Powerline concert), are drawn realistically in the female form with curves around the breasts, hips and buttocks area, but this is completely covered.
  • Roxanne is very mildly flirtatious toward Max at the end of the film.

Violence & Gore

  • At the closing concert, Goofy gets punched in the face (This is for comic relief), and then electrocuted, but appears unharmed. A security guard crashes into a giant screen.
  • Goofy's car blows up, sending him flying into the air. He crashes through a roof, again unharmed.

  • Max says "My life is a living He..." and then he's cut off by a costumed character dressed like a possum saying "Hello, little buddy!", with a slight emphasis on the first syllable.
  • No profanity, but there are a few arguments between Goofy and Max that might make some people sad.
  • The words 'stupid' and 'dumb' are used by Max.
  • The word 'kill' is used once by P.J. before Max's Powerline performance. As in "My dad is gonna kill me".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Goofy uses the cigarette lighter in his car as a cooking source for a can of alphabet soup.
  • When the Powerline concert is being broadcast on TV and Pete sees Goofy and Max on stage, he does a spit take and spews a brown frothy liquid on the TV screen, that resembles beer.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • In the very beginning of the film, Max has a dream/nightmare where he turns into a giant Goofy. Roxanne screams.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There is a scene near the end of the film where Max and Goofy are trying to escape from a waterfall. It might get intense for young kids. The following are some of the things that happen in this scene: Their car flips over a large rock with them on it, one of them is hit by a rock; Goofy almost falls to his death over the waterfall, but Max saves him with a fishing pole line.
