Saturday Zoo was a 1993 TV comedy series aired on the UK-based Channel 4. This stand up comedy was written by several writers, including Johnathon Ross who wrote three episodes in 1993. Other writers included Kevin Day, Geoff Deane and Patrick Marber. Only one series consisting of twelve shows was aired in 1993. Featured stars of the series included Johnathon Ross (the presenter) along with Steve Coogan (as the student-hating character Paul Calf) and Simon Day. Members of the cast played multiple roles. The series was directed by Ian Hamilton and produced by Kenton Allen, Iain Coyle and executive producer Alan Marke.
