A man pursues stand-up comedy encouraged by his fellow garbage man. Though his friend, who accompanies him on accordion, continues to tell him how great he is, he actually stinks. When the "comedian" grows a third arm out of his back, the friend uses this twist to get him signed up with a sleazy talent agent, and it begins to look like his career is on the move, even though his girlfriend has left him.Written by

A wretched thing you found in the trash to impress mum, and she slaps you.
It impressed me to its garbage heap universe at first, but it wore off fast. Bill Paxton sort of rings true, as there are so many people like that... my favorite was when he licked the corpse of the dead woman and it was a totally contained, irrelevant moment. This is the kind of freakshow that echoes across the imagination of the completely and totally amoral; it's a nihilistic hell that celebrates hedonism, celebrity, sex and materialism as the ultimate end goal. As a visual world it was entertaining until the dreaded 'second act'. Nothing has destroyed more films. I wish that the movie took it all in a lighter direction, if they found the love within it, give all these weirdos happiness, might turn genuinely sweet. If you're going to venture off the beaten path you have to really be inviting and well behaved, or, leave the audience in a better state than when you found them.
