Trivia

Kid 'n' Play's hit 1989 song 'Rollin' With Kid 'n' Play' was used as the theme tune for the series, albeit with modified verse lyrics to suit the show. Snippets of the live action music video for the song were also inter-cut with the animation in the opening titles. See more »

Goofs

The music was mixed to be too loud in production, drowning out the dialogue in many scenes and making it incomprehensible. This occurs throughout the whole series. See more »

Rap Duo's TV Effort
11 December 2000 | by hillariSee all my reviews

Kid n' Play were a popular rap group of the late 1980's/early 1990's, known for their party lyrics and Christopher Reid's high top hairstyle.

They made two attempts to break into TV. Their first was this Saturday morning cartoon, that was similar to Bill Cosby's Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, in that the episodes contained positive messages for kids along with the humor. The second was a live action prime time effort, where the duo were free-lance detectives. Neither series lasted long.
