Emmy Opening Problems Solved? Homer Simpson, Anthony Anderson & Bryan Cranston Do Their Best
Last year, Emmy producers pledged (via Kate McKinnon and Kenan Thompson boasting “We Solved It”) that they’d figured out TV’s pesty diversity problem, and, at the same time, the dilemma of how to open a show without a host. Except McKinnon and Thompson seemed like hosts. So no fair.

Tonight’s opening did indeed seem leaner, but maybe not lean enough. Basically turning the opening moment into a The Simpsons commercial, the broadcast began with the animated dad walking on stage, crowing about having reached his “impossible dream” just before a cartoon piano fell on him.

Cut to a stunned Anthony Anderson in the audience,

‘The Bachelor’: ABC Reality Boss Talks Ratings Success, Diversity Backlash
Last night, Peter Weber was unveiled, perhaps unsurprisingly, as the next Bachelor during the season finale of “Bachelor in Paradise.”

Weber’s selection coincided with a season-high rating for “Paradise,” and caps a solid ratings summer for the “Bachelor” franchise. As ratings have been in decline across the board this summer, “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise” have been the two shows holding firm.

The Bachelorette” was the only show to grow among adults 18-49 from last summer to this one, with a 2.1 average Nielsen rating as opposed to a 2.0 last year (those figures include a week of delayed viewing). It currently stands as the top rated broadcast series of the summer so far, a first for the show, narrowly ahead of “America’s Got Talent.”

But how has the show managed to avoid the ratings slump which has plagued almost every other network series this summer? ABC reality chief

You probably thought that was the end of this fun duo, but, in what only be described as truly shocking, Tayshia and Jpj are dating!

During the reunion show, Tayshia got in the hot seat and Chris Harrison asked if she made a mistake saying goodbye to Jpj in Paradise. To our surprise, she said yes! But even more than that, Tayshia decided to go after Jpj. So she flew out to St. Michaels, MD, with a camera to capture it all, of course.

When they came face-to-face for the first time since Mexico, Tayshia told Jpj, "I want to explore things with you." He felt the same way and he asked

Weber's announcement did not come as a total surprise. As The Hollywood Reporter reported, the 28-year-old half-Cuban contestant ...

What We Know About Bachelor in Paradise’s Blake’s Current Relationship Status
If there was one person who had a rough time on Bachelor in Paradise season six, it was Blake Horstmann. Granted, the drama started before he even set foot at the Mexican resort.
