Storyline

Anthropologist Tobias Schmidt-Eberbach is about to get married. However, a find of a prehistoric skull on his wedding day messes up his plans. So does hitchhiker Uschi Mueller who he picks up merely by accident. It does not help that the police thinks that Tobias is a serial killer and Uschi his next victim, and neither that the real killer is still on the loose... Written by Stefan Kahrs <smk@dcs.ed.ac.uk>

No Leopard
3 December 2001 | by cengelmSee all my reviews

Nerdish professor wants to marry orderly girl but meets wild girl who does everything to conquer him and succeeds. There is also a palaeohistoric bone and a leopard. That is the plot of BRINGING UP BABY from 1939. Several years later Herbert Ballmann makes an attempt at the same story. Cary Grant is replaced by wellknown softcore actor Helmut Berger and Katharine Hepburn by TV-star Desiree Nosbusch. Both deliver a lackluster performance. The leopard is missing and there is a muddled murder mystery story inserted. All 3 actresses can be seen topless(!) and those are the climactic moments of this film.

4 / 10.
