Trivia

The original premise of the show was three single stand-up comedians living together and the theme was more of an adult-oriented sitcom titled "House of Comics". However, with shows like The Cosby Show (1984) and Family Ties (1982) doing well with family-oriented themes, the show was changed to incorporate family morals and values and the name was changed to Full House (1987). Alternate Versions

A longer version of the theme song was used in the first few seasons of the show but was truncated in later reruns, though this version was kept on some episodes, such as the pilot when it airs on ABC Family. First season episodes in syndication also feature a credit for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (they were only credited during the end credits in the first season). See more »

User Reviews

its simply BRILLIANT!
30 December 2005 | by sitsbynickSee all my reviews

when you first see this show, you think " wow, that has to be the dumbest thing ever since the Brady bunch!" but if you keep on watching it, the plots get more realistic.you can totally relate to the characters. Danny is a a sportscaster turned TV show host. Jesse is the party hard rock and roll guy. and joey is the loving funny man of the house! the girls are all great. wand watching little Michelle grow up is priceless! its a great family show. you can sit down and watch it with your kids and not have to worry about monitoring it. FUll house is perfect for all ages. it went on for eight seasons, and cancelled after the third taping of the ninth.a must!
