Storyline

A vicious corporation tries to kill and starve the last remaining habitants of the Bronx in order to build their own high-rise developments. A lone long-haired, hot-tempered warrior, Trash, is his only obstacle. Trash, a psychopathic bomb-maker and his equally psychopathic preschool son and an annoying activist help him out by kidnapping "the President" (of the corporation), a Richard Dreyfuss look-alike. Henry Silva plays another psychopath, this one on the side of the corporations. A favorite movie of Mystery Science Theater 3000 series. Written by Jonah Falcon <jonahnynla@mindspring.com>

Alternate Versions

The recent German EMS DVD release reinstates nearly all the scenes missing from the Media entertainment and "Escape 2000" versions and has slightly more gore than the British version (marginally longer flame deaths and the full Hostages Rigged With Bombs scene) but is inexplicably missing two scenes from the British release. Strike hitting the Disinfestor's helmet visor is completely missing, not just trimmed and President Clarke gets shot once not twice. See more »

User Reviews

Extreme Entertainment from Italy
2 November 1998 | by AylmerSee all my reviews

This is one of the most entertaining flicks I've seen in a long time. If the cool explosions, slow motion, pyrotechnics, music, and funny dialogue don't satisfy you, then I don't know what will. More deaths than a Verhoeven flick, more slow motion than a John Woo flick, what more could you want? Does not retain the same atmosphere that 1990 THE BRONX WARRIORS had, but is almost never boring. I'm not giving anything away, but watch for the great scene when three rebels are gunned down fleeing a man rigged with a bomb. I've seen the movie a dozen times and it still tickles me!
