Dani Reynolds is photographer. Her life changes after her husband dies. She learned that he was the mild mannered man he said he was but was in reality a government agent. When she found out that he was murdered, she recruited a former Vietnam Vet Mac Harper to help her find her husbands killers. After doing that, Henry Towner, her husband's boss, offered her her husband's job. Basically, she would continue being a photographer and Mac was one of her models. And Henry would send them anywhere in the world where there are Americans in trouble or criminals that need to be apprehended or enemies of the U.S. that had to be stopped, and they acted pretty much on their own. When Jon-Erik Hexum who played Mac died, Jack Striker joined the show as an actual agent who joined Dani's team as the new model.Written by
Coincidentally, Jennifer O'Neill herself suffered from an accidental self-inflicted gun shot wound in 1982. While in her home, she was checking to see if a .38 pistol was loaded when the weapon discharged into her abdomen. She was transported to the hospital where she underwent surgery, and went on to make a full recovery. See more »
Was this a great piece of filmography-no, but was it entertaining-yes. Most reviews comment on the fate of Jon-Erik Hexum, and it's natural since he died on the set. The shame is if he had the training of his character, he would have known better. The great thing is his mother allowing his organs donation.
As for the show, it was a typical 70-80s shown. Beautiful women, great snipets of songs, action, story, and Hexum. Although he had limited experience, he was really a good actor and had a charisma that would have made him a great star. It would have been interesting had he lived whether the show would have gone beyond season 1 unlike Voyagers! which it too was an entertaining show much like Quantum Leap or the Time Tunnel, so it's being ended was rather unfair.
