This 1983 (British?) production is a very faithful and accurate in all essentials account of the failed Shackleton expedition which is now (2001) receiving so much media attention. The casting was excellent. If you are interested in polar adventure, it is well worth watching, if you can find it, to compare it to the recently released documentary and upcoming Branagh film.
