Pepper Dennis- is a show premiering on The WB Television Network in the middle of the 2006 season. Pepper Dennis is a story about a Woman anchor, in Chicago, who has a one night stand with a man she meets in a bar. Little does she know he is the new lead anchor person for WEIE news Chicago. Intrestingly enough the new anchor, Charlie Babcock, is from Boston.
Even though the ways these 2 people meet are different. It almost is the exact same show. But just like Beantown...I think Pepper Dennis will suffer the same fate. And there are other shows that were about TV that did not do very well. Most Recently "Sports Night", a wonderful show from Aaron Sorkin. I don't think people like, or care, about shows about TV.
But anyway Pepper seems to be a rip off of Beantown. I wander if the producers of "Goodnight, Beantown" know of this.
