Hawaii has some of the most stringent firearm laws in the United States. It is nearly impossible to obtain an open or concealed carry handgun permit, and as of 2017, less than 200 people on all of the islands of the state, not including law enforcement officers, have an open or concealed carry handgun permit. In the original German dubbed version from the 80's (for ARD) all references to Thomas Magnum's Vietnam missions were deleted and the series was cut down to fit its given time slot. Creative dubbing hid the cuts. In 1994 the series was re-dubbed (for RTL), this time in it's original, uncut form. See more »
Magnum,P.I. was and will remain the best TV series ever. It had it all: action, humour, tragedy and characters you believe in. No TV series will ever reach Magnum,P.I.'s quality. To all who have been involved in the creation of this fabolous icon of the 80s: Thank you!
