Color Me Dead (1969) is a colorless scene-to-scene remake of D.O.A. (1949)

Color Me Dead (1969) is a colorless scene-to-scene remake of D.O.A. (1949) which actually makes no sense at all in making it again for Australian audience or cinema where the original could have been shown. The only best thing I loved about this Australian version was that I could see 1960's Australia and the worst thing apart from the others is that this film is completely unavailable anywhere and I had to resort to a old, dusty VHS copy to watch it in the era of HD, BLU-RAY and STREAMING. The performance of the lead Tom Tryon never makes you believes that he is being poisoned and on the run to find truth or even tensed. Watch it only if you hadn't the original or the American remake or avoid it, in case.
