Trivia

Some of the space ship sets as well as the helmets and air tanks on the space suits are the same props that were used in the TV series "Men Into Space".

"The Men into Space" series was a Ziv production which ran from 1959-1960 starring William Lundigan. See more »

Goofs

At 16:48 Franks air line is broken while standing on the wing of the rocket, yet no evidence of air leakage is shown, i.e. as from the port which was opened to fix the Retrorocket Feed lines. Also when Frank drops the adjustable wrench inside the rocket ship, despite being in space with no gravity, the wrench falls straight down. See more »

Its Not that bad
7 April 2002 | by Big Cat 12See all my reviews

This movie is not that bad when you consider the type and time this movie was made. It was a 50's science fiction (even though it was made in 1961). It does have a plot-astronaut is on a mission to check out why rockets keep crashing on asteroids. Crashes into one, shrinks, meets good looking girls and helps fight evil space invaders. Typical sci-fi 50's movie. If you want good acting, see Casablanca or Citizen Kane. This movie was entertaining enough. I rate it 6/10 for a 50's type sci-fi.
