Beat the Devil (1953)
When Bogart first met Jennifer Jones near the beginning of the movie, Jones guessed that Bogart is an evil doctor going to Africa where human lives are cheap. In Casablanca (which is located in Africa, by the way), there is a scene when Major Strasse saying that human life is cheap.
