Storyline

It's spring, and the flowers, mushrooms, and trees do their calisthentics. Some trees play a tune, using vines for harp strings and a chorus of robins. A nasty looking hollow tree does battle with a much healthier-looking tree for the attentions of a female tree, and starts a fire in the process. Written by Jon Reeves <jreeves@imdb.com>

A serene piece of cartoon work.
28 May 2018 | by OllieSuave-007See all my reviews

This is a beautifully done award-winning animation short, with cleverly done sequences such as the trees and flowers waking up to the day and the characters sounding off the alarm after an old, grumpy tree stump starts a forest fire in a fit of jealous rage.

Wonderful serene music, including some recognizable tunes, as well.
