Her husband becomes involved in a fight, is arrested and sentenced to thirty days in jail. While distributing flowers in prison, Clementia is recognized by inmate Louis, a waiter at the Cleopatra Club, but she does not meet her husband. After thirty days, Fitzhew returns home wearing Mexican attire and speaking Spanish. Although suspicious, Clementia fails to find out the true nature of his "trip."
