Dwayne Johnson Reveals Production Start Date for ‘Black Adam’ – Finally
Dwayne Johnson has revealed when “Black Adam” will finally begin production, after being attached to the project for almost a decade.

“This project has been with me for over 10yrs,” The Rock tweeted on Friday. “Production begins this July.”

Johnson, who has been attached to the role since 2008, will produce “Black Adam” with Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia via their Seven Bucks Productions banner, along with Beau Flynn’s FlynnPictureCo. Jaume Collet-Serra will direct.

Johnson, Flynn, Garcia, Garcia and Collet-Serra also collaborated on Disney’s “Jungle Cruise,” which also stars Emily Blunt. “Jungle Cruise” will be released on July 24, 2020.

Black Adam didn’t show up in David F. Sandberg’s “Shazam!” although Johnson’s character, a famous villain to Shazam, did. Sandberg said the reason for that was because both characters needed
