Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie Team up for Thriller at Miramax
Jason Statham is reuniting with Guy Ritchie for the fourth time on an untitled action thriller that’s set up at Miramax, the studio announced on Monday. The duo worked previously together on the 1998 crime-thriller “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels,” “Snatch” in 2001 and 2005’s “Revolver.”

The film will be a remake of the French 2004 movie “Le Convoyeur,” starring Jean Dujardin and Albert Dupontel. Miramax has acquired the remake rights to the film from Studiocanal. Miramax’s CEO Bill Block and Ivan Atkinson will produce.

The untitled film is a revenge-thriller that will follow “H,” a cold and mysterious man responsible for moving hundreds of millions of dollars around Los Angeles each week. The film also shifts across timelines and between various character’s perspectives.
