could have simply sulked in private after she failed to show up among the seven lead actresses who were nominated for their drama series work as her role on Amazon
’s military-themed thriller, “Homecoming
,” was passed over. Adding insult to injury, considering that she is the executive producer of the show as well as its star attraction, the series got zilch recognition. Some believe that TV academy voters have a grudge against rewarding half-hour drama series — if so, that might have contributed to the slights.
But instead of grousing, the Oscar winner for the 2000 biopic “Erin Brockovich
” went the classy route by sharing a post on social media.
