Ghostbusters 2020 begins filming as Jason Reitman shares first cast photo

Back in January it was announced that Jason Reitman, son of Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II director Ivan Reitman, is set to revisit the original continuity of the 1980s movies with a brand new instalment in the Ghostbusters franchise, and now the filmmaker has taken to Twitter to announce the start of production on what is currently being referred to as Ghostbusters 2020.

Joining the Reitmans in the above photo are Carrie Coon (The Leftovers), Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) and Mckenna Grace (Captain Marvel), who are set to portray a family at the centre of the new story.
