's Today, the 76-year-old actor was asked who he'd like to see as the adventurer. "Nobody is gonna be Indiana Jones," he said, followed by a laugh. "Don't you get it? I'm Indiana Jones. When I'm gone, he's gone. It's easy."

might be Ford's successor, but Ford kindly shut that down during the interview. "This is a hell of a way to tell Chris Pine
this," he continued on Today. "I'm sorry, man."
