Chris Rock will be back to host the Oscars in 2016
It's official - Chris Rock will be hosting the Oscars for a second time.

The comedian previously took charge of Hollywood's biggest night in 2005, and is now confirmed to host the next Academy Awards on February 28, 2016.

"I'm so glad to be hosting the Oscars," said Rock. "It's good to be back."

"Chris Rock is truly the Mvp of the entertainment industry," said Oscars producers David Hill and Reginald Hudlin.

"Comedian, actor, writer, producer, director, documentarian - he's done it all. He's going to be a phenomenal Oscar host!"

Rock previously told Digital Spy he was eager to take charge of the Academy Awards again.
