Millie Bobby Brown and Noah Schnapp Are Quickly Shaping Up to Be Hollywood's Cutest Pals

  • Popsugar
Hi, I'm Victoria Messina, I'm 25 years old, and I shamelessly fangirl over teenage celebrities on a routine basis. Case in point: when Millie Bobby Brown, 15, and Noah Schnapp, 14, were pictured looking absurdly adorable together at an Emmys afterparty last year, I all but lost my Stranger Things-obsessed mind and have been intensely invested in their friendship ever since.

A quick scroll through Millie and Noah's Instagram accounts reveals that the Stranger Things actors - who play the role of Eleven and Will Beyers on the Netflix series, respectively - have quite the unbeatable bond. In just a couple short years, the two have evolved from mere costars to inseparable BFFs who love taking candid selfies, attending A-list events, and even participating in viral internet challenges together. Plus, they also have sweet nicknames for each other - Noah occasionally refers to Millie as either Mills or Millster on Instagram, whereas

Stranger Things: 10 Things You Didn't Notice About The Scoop Troop

Stranger Things, created by Ross and Matt Duffer, premiered in 2016. It quickly became one of Netflix’s biggest hit shows. It follows the story of Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) as she and her friends grapple with her supernatural abilities and the terror it unleashes. Season three of Stranger Things was one of their best seasons so far, and a lot of that can be attributed to the addition of the Scoop Troop.

While it is comprised of main characters, the fact that it was a solid, separate group, allowed the show to bring the different storylines together. Featuring Steve (Joe Keery), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Erica (Priah Ferguson), and new character Robin (Maya Hawke), the group is important in uncovering the plot to reopen the interdimensional rift leading to the Upside Down. Given their centrality to this season,

Hear ‘Stranger Things’ Star Joe Keery’s Debut Single ‘Roddy’
Joe Keery is best known as Steve Harrington, a.k.a. the guy with the hair, on Netflix series Stranger Things. But the actor is also part of musical project Djo, which has dropped its debut single “Roddy.”

On the track, Keery, who previously played in Chicago band Post Animal, takes on the vocals, singing, “So man in the mirror/Make another home here/You’re put together but clear/You’re lackin’ substance not fear.” The psych-tinged indie rock tune was written by Keery himself and a low-key, intimate vibe.

"The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror XXX"

"The Simpsons" 30th annual "Treehouse of Horror" animated Halloween special (Episode #666) will air October 20, 2019 on Fox, with parodies of Netflix' "Stranger Things" and 'Oscar' winner "The Shape of Water":

"...'The Simpsons' leave 'Springfield' for the haunted town of 'Hawkins', as 'Lisa' takes over for Millie Bobby Brown as its resident 'telekinetic', with a trademark bloody nose and shaved head. '

"Bart' is Finn Wolfhard's 'Mike', 'Nelson' is Gaten Matarazzo's 'Dustin', 'Martin' is Caleb McLaughlin's 'Lucas' and 'Chief Wiggum' is David Harbour's 'Jim Hopper'.

"Then, under the sea, 'Selma Bouvier' cozies up to octo-aliens 'Kang' and 'Kodos', with Sally Hawkins as 'Elisa' and Doug Jones as 'Amphibian Man'.

Stranger Things Star Reveals Which Star Wars Character He’d Like To Play

He’s battled otherworldly monsters and forged a life-long friendship with Steve Harrington himself, but it seems Gaten Matarazzo still has one or two things on his to-do list.

Chief among them is the chance to play Obi-Wan Kenobi in a future Star Wars film, after the Stranger Things star told IMDb that he wouldn’t think twice about portraying Obi-Wan on the big screen. Keep in mind that Matarazzo is just 16 years young, and is fantasizing about a future scenario in which the Powers That Be over at Lucasfilm select him for the part – hell, he even went so far as to say that he’d still consider the role even if he was, like, 75.

It seems the actor’s love of Star Wars – and Obi-Wan, in particular – knows no bounds.

When I’m older, I want to play Obi-Wan. Like if it ever–they shouldn’t remake any Star Wars movie,

Is Stranger Things' Will Gay? It's Up to "Interpretation"

Is Stranger Things' Will Gay? It's Up to
Stranger Things packed a lot into just eight episodes. There were breakups, big monsters, Russians, a brand-new mall, new villains and new characters. And then there's Will Byers (Noah Schnapp). Much of the season, Will dealt with his connection to the monster from the Upside Down, but the show also dealt with his feelings about growing up…and maybe his sexual orientation. While Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) all got girlfriends and showed interest in other things besides Dungeons and Dragons, Will seemed stuck. During a particular heated moment, Mike even said to Will, "It's not my fault you don't like girls." That's not Mike saying Will's...

Dustin and Suzie’s Duet in Stranger Things Season 3 Deserves to Go to the Top of the Charts

Spoilers for Stranger Things season three lurking ahead, Fyi.

Stranger Things season three gives us a lot to love: the nonstop bickering between Steve and Robin, Erica's one-liners, Hopper and Joyce's sexual tension, exploding rats . . . the list goes on. But at the top of my own personal list of favorite moments from the third outing of Netflix's sci-fi hit is the duet at the very end of the season between Dustin and his new, totally real girlfriend, Suzie.

We hear all about the girlfriend Dustin met while attending his sleep-away science camp, Camp Know Where, pretty much as soon as he returns home. According to Dustin, she's crazy smart, hotter than '80s icon Phoebe Cates, and doesn't mind that his teeth haven't fully grown in yet. The only catch is that she lives in Utah with a very strict Mormon family who would never approve of their relationship,

‘Stranger Things 3’ Draws Record Viewership, According to Nielsen
The third season of “Stranger Things” has posted record viewership figures, according to Nielsen measurements.

Across the holiday weekend, from July 4th to 7th, the show had an average minute audience of 12.8 million viewers and reached 26.4 million unique viewers in the U.S. Over the first four days after its release, the premiere episode garnered 19.2 million viewers in the average minute, a 7% bump on the premiere episode from season 2 which scored 17.7 million viewers in the same measurement.

Scheduling the launch, and centering much of the plot, around a holiday clearly paid off for the streamer, as by the end of July 4th, a total of 824,000 viewers had watched the entire 8-episode season, according to Nielsen. That figure represents a considerable 56% increase on the total viewers who binged the entirety of season 2 within the first day. Season 3 has also proven to be the most watched Netflix original series that Nielsen has ever analyzed,

Stranger Things Kids Earn More Per Episode Than Most People Do Per Year

The latest season of Stranger Things only dropped a week ago and has already been devoured by millions of fans, with Netflix estimating that over 40 million households had tuned in at some point over the weekend, with 18.2 million binging all eight episodes in their entirety. The Duffer Brothers have created a genuine cultural phenomenon, and with Game of Thrones having recently wrapped up, Stranger Things might very well be the biggest television show on the planet right now.

The series exploded in popularity from the second the first episode landed on Netflix in 2016, and the showrunners have gradually been expanding the scope of the story. It was evident in season 3 that Stranger Things is being made with a much higher budget now with CGI and set pieces that wouldn’t look out of place in a Hollywood blockbuster, which is no surprise given the massive revenue it generates.
