Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Stars Reveal Whether Their Characters Would’ve Survived Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War ended with such a universe-shattering event that fans have been curious to know how it affects the wider world of the McU beyond just what we saw in the movie. The Russo brothers have previously told us the fates of some memorable supporting characters – congrats on making it, Howard the Duck! R.I.P. Galaga Guy! – but there’s still much we’re curious about.

Like the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., for example. Which of them would have survived and who would have died because of Thanos’ finger snap that wiped out half of reality? We still don’t know if the likes of Daisy, Melinda and Simmons would have made it, but two villains from the show’s past are confident their characters would’ve been alright.

Attending an La Comic-Con panel, Brett Dalton (treacherous Hydra agent Grant Ward) and Mallory Jensen (evil Life Model

How Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. fixed the 22-episode problem

Rob Leane May 22, 2017

With spoilers for season 4, we look at how Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. turned its lengthy run into a good thing instead of a drag...

Warning: this article contains spoilers for Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s season 4 finale, World’s End. It will be re-promoted at a later date for those viewing at UK pace.

22 episodes is a lot to fill, and the first season of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. arguably fell prey to this network-mandated issue. Forgettable filler instalments where the gang investigated a mysterious thing were commonplace, which felt like an excuse to kill time before the main villain of the season – the utterly unmemorable Clairvoyant - showed up.

But the show has been on an uptick since then. Appearances from Jaime Alexander’s Lady Sif livened things up,

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 Episode 22 Review – ‘World’s End’

Danny Hale reviews the season finale of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 4…

‘World’s End’, while not perfect, successfully closed an incredible season of television with the return of Ghost Rider, some staggering visuals and many teases for what’s to come next year.

It was a great move to open this week’s episode with Robbie Reyes, wasting no time in setting up the finale and giving us the payoff we’ve been looking for since his reveal last week. His immensely visually pleasing confrontation with the LMDs also showcased just how much of a game changer he is. Ghost Rider is a big name hero to appear on this show and therefore should represent a much greater power than our team. To see him wipe out the LMDs in a single blow therefore was so satisfying to watch and to know that the Spirit of Vengeance desperately

Exclusive: 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Boss Talks Framework Consequences & Aida's 'Horrible' Season Finale Plans!
It’s the end of the world as we know it in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s season four finale! At least it will be, if Aida has her way.

This season of S.H.I.E.L.D. was split into three consecutive pods of episodes -- Ghost Rider, Life Model Decoys, and the Framework reality-based Agents of Hydra -- but now, the three storylines are coming together for one epic season closer, as Dr. Radcliffe’s former android assistant (played brilliantly by Mallory Jansen) has built herself a human body and is out for revenge!

As the team recovers from their time in the Framework’s alternate reality, the Lmd-turned-all-powerful Inhuman is hell bent on global destruction after getting an overdose of human emotion in her new, organic body, and the agents will need every trick in the book if they hope to stop the super-powered being.

Exclusive: Ghost Rider Tells the 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' What He Knows About Aida in Finale Sneak Peek!
Ghost Rider is back for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season finale, and he’s got some answers about Aida!

“There was a tear in the dark world when she was created,” Robbie Reyes (Gabriel Luna) tells agents Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Daisy (Chloe Bennet) in this sneak peek from S.H.I.E.L.D.’s season four closer. “That’s how I escaped.”

We last saw Robbie earlier this season as he let the Ghost Rider take over, allowing him to drag his uncle, Eli Morrow, to another hellish dimension. Morrow, an engineer, had hoped to harness the mysterious powers of the Darkhold in order to make himself “a god,” a feat that Dr. Radcliffe’s (John Hannah) former assistant, Aida (Mallory Jansen), has now mastered after returning from the Framework.

Performer of the Week: Michael McKean

The Performer | Michael McKean

The Show | Better Call Saul

The Episode | “Chicanery” (May 8, 2017)

The Performance | McKean’s skills as a comedic actor are legendary, and for good reason. (Spinal Tap, anyone?) But like his co-star Bob Odenkirk, he also possesses a hidden talent for dramatic work — and this week’s Better Call Saul, with its climactic courtroom showdown, was the finest showcase yet for his fascinatingly layered performance as Jimmy’s brother Chuck McGill.

Chuck is a brilliant lawyer, and is all too happy to inform you of that fact; McKean was positively gleeful as Chuck arrogantly held court at Jimmy’s disbarment hearing,

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Renewed for Season 5

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Renewed for Season 5
You haven't seen the last of Phil Coulson! While it seemed touch and go there for a while, ABC has renewed Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a fifth season. Though the network ordering the shiny new Marvel's Inhumans straight-to-series for the fall, it appears there's room for more than one Marvel series on the line-up and Coulson and the gang will back to protect Earth from all manner of foes. However, no word yet on episode count or when season five will debut. Now all that's standing in their way is pesky Aida (Mallory Jansen) and her plot to, you know, destroy the world. Despite sagging ratings in its new 10 p.m. time slot, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been on a creative upswing this season,...

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 Episode 21 Review – ‘The Return’

Danny Hale reviews the twenty-first episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 4…

Well, any fears I had that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was going to let the momentum drop this week by our heroes escaping the Framework were completely unfounded; the opening encounter between Coulson, May and Ivanov to the wonderful return of Ghost Rider at the episode’s close bookended an incredibly fast paced episode that has now set up what hopes to be an incredible series finale.

It was great to see Coulson and May get some conversation and catching up done this week considering just how dire their situation was. May’s mention of Robbie Reyes and his uncle quickly established just how long May had been gone while also bringing mention back to Ghost Rider before his big reveal. With David Tancharoen directing it’s no surprise that the ensuing fight between Coulson, May (after taking
