The Good Doctor: Renewed for Season 2!
The Good Doctor is not going anywhere.

In the least surprising news of the season, ABC has renewed the show for another season.

The Good Doctor stars Freddie Highmore as Dr. Shaun Murphy, an autistic surgeon who moves to California to work at one of the biggest hospitals in the state. It follows Shaun's unique way of helping his patients, but he also goes up against some of the other characters because they look down on the way he treats his patients.

“‘The Good Doctor’s’ message of inclusiveness resonates with our viewers and is a hallmark of what we aim to accomplish here at ABC,” Channing Dungey, president of ABC Entertainment, says in a statement.

“This series has quickly joined the zeitgeist and broken records in the competitive television landscape. We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Shaun Murphy will be back for another season.

Harry's Law star Nate Corddry has revealed that the show will explore the aftermath of Chunhua's assault.
