Suicidal Tendencies was born in 1982 in Venice, California, USA. He is an actor, known for Iron Man (2008), Repo Man (1984) and Empire Records (1995).

Their 1983 self-titled debut is considered a classic Suicidal Tendencies album and the best-selling releases in the history of hardcore punk, containing their well known radio hit "Institutionalized".
Founded by vocalist Mike Muir, who is the only remaining original member of the band. [1982]
Are considered to be the the fathers of the "crossover" genre, along with Anthrax, Corrosion of Conformity, D.R.I. (Dirty Rotten Imbeciles) and Faith No More.
(As of 2007) Current members of the band are: Mike Muir (vocals), Mike Clark (rhythm guitar), Dean Pleasants (lead guitar), Steve Brunner (bass) and Ron Brunner, Jr. (drums).
Past members of the band are: Grant Estes (guitar, 1982-1985), Rocky George (guitar, 1985-1996), Louiche Mayorga (bass, 1982-1987), Bob Heathcote (bass, 1987-1989), Robert Trujillo (bass, 1989-1996), Josh Paul (bass, 1997-2002), Amery Smith (drums, 1982-1985), R.J. Herrera (drums, 1985-1991), Jimmy DeGrasso (drums, 1992-1996) and Brooks Wackerman (1997-2001).
(To date) Released nine proper studio albums: "Suicidal Tendencies" (1983), "Join the Army" (1987), "How Will I Laugh Tomorrow When I Can't Even Smile Today" (1988), "Controlled by Hatred/Feel Like Shit...Deja Vu" (1989), "Lights...Camera...Revolution!" (1990), "The Art of Rebellion" (1992), "Suicidal for Life" (1994), "Freedumb" (1999) and "Free Your Soul and Save My Mind" (2000).
Were close friends with their hometown heroes Excel (which also featured guitarist Adam Siegel, who played in Mike Muir's side project Infectious Grooves) and Uncle Slam (which also featured original drummer Amery Smith).
