Meet the new young cast of ITV's Cold Feet

The cast of BAFTA winning comedy drama Cold FeetJames Nesbitt, Robert Bathurst, Hermione Norris, John Thomson, and Fay Ripley – are reunited and returning to our screens after a 13-year break, and the new series has started filming in Manchester

The newest cast members are the children, who are now being portrayed as teenagers.

Actor and Radio 1 presenter Ceallach Spellman has joined the cast of the upcoming new series of Cold Feet. He will play Matthew - the son of Adam and Rachel in the revived ITV drama.

20 year old Ceallach (represented by United Agents) from Manchester said: "I am so excited and somewhat humbled to be given such a wonderful opportunity to be part of this fantastic story which was so popular and successful 14 years ago. Gordon the Gopher is about to launch 2015's biggest comeback to celebrate Cbbc's 30th anniversary

Gordon the Gopher could be about to launch 2015's biggest comeback... but only if he's on his best behaviour.

Gordon is one of many Cbbc favourites coming together on Wednesday, September 9 to mark the 30th anniversary of the first Children's BBC Presentation.

The BBC have said that while Phillip Schofield's former sidekick "has been off the rails for several years", he will clean up his act to introduce himself to a new generation of Cbbc viewers.

Cheryl Taylor, Controller of Cbbc, said: "We'd be delighted to welcome all the stars back to Cbbc for this special event. Even Gordon is welcome - as long as he's a good gopher! So he's on the guest list... for now."

Andi Peters will reunite with Edd the Duck in the Broom Cupboard for the special, while Zoe Ball and Schofield will look back on their time on the popular series.

Cel Spellman: 'I think I spent 75% of Cucumber topless'

Russell T Davies's big TV comeback Cucumber and its companion series Banana are out on DVD from today - as individual editions or as one special box-set.

Cel Spellman played Adam in Cucumber - nephew to Henry (Vincent Franklin) who, unlike his uncle, was fazed by very little about modern sexuality.

Rufus Hound joins cast of Russell T Davies's Channel 4 series Cucumber

Rufus Hound has joined the cast of Russell T Davies's new series Cucumber.

The actor and comedian will guest star as Rupert, a man who is interested in the show's lead character Henry (Vincent Franklin), Gay Times reports.

Meanwhile, Father Ted's Ardal O'Hanlon and Doctor Who's Adjoa Andoh have also been added to the cast.

The new Channel 4 series - which was first announced last year - is an eight-part drama and will focus on gay life in the 21st Century.

Coronation Street's Julie Hesmondhalgh will appear in the show, alongside Cyril Nri (The Bill), Freddie Fox (Parade's End), Fisayo Akinade (Fresh Meat), Con O'Neill (Uncle), James Murray (Primeval) and Ceallach Spellman (Waterloo Road).

Channel 4 has also commissioned an E4 follow-up series titled Banana, as well as an online factual series called Tofu. All three series are expected to debut in 2015.

Corrie star Julie Hesmondhalgh joins Russell T Davies's Cucumber

Julie Hesmondhalgh has landed her first television role since exiting Coronation Street earlier this year.

Hesmondhalgh will star in the upcoming Russell T Davies drama series Cucumber.

The series - which was first announced last year - will air on Channel 4 and focus on gay life in the 21st Century.

The Thick of It star Vincent Franklin will also appear in the eight-part Channel 4 project, along with Cyril Nri (The Bill), Freddie Fox (Parade's End), Fisayo Akinade (Fresh Meat), Con O'Neill (Uncle), James Murray (Primeval) and Ceallach Spellman (Waterloo Road).

Cucumber will focus on 46-year-old Henry (Franklin) and his boyfriend Lance (Nri). After a disastrous date night, Henry's life changes forever.

Lance gets to know the mysterious Daniel (Murray), while Freddie (Fox) and 19-year-old Dean (Akinade) find themselves all living under the same roof.

'Blue Peter': Lindsey Russell announced as new presenter

Lindsey Russell has been announced as the new presenter of Blue Peter.

Cbbc viewers voted for the 23-year-old to join current presenters Helen Skelton and Barney Harwood on the long-running show as part of the Blue Peter - You Decide! series.

Russell becomes the 36th presenter in the show's 55-year history after beating fellow finalists Ben Hunte and Freddie Ingleby.

She revealed to the BBC that she felt "amazing" when she was announced as the winner.

20,000 people applied for the You Decide!, series with ten finalists taking part in a series of challenges before judges Myleene Klass, Eamonn Holmes and Ceallach Spellman.

Ahead of the talent hunt, Klass revealed that it was important to find a presenter who could "inspire the next generation".

Myleene Klass announced as judge on Cbbc's 'Blue Peter - You Decide!'

Myleene Klass has signed up to be a judge on a new Cbbc reality show.

Blue Peter - You Decide will see hopefuls battle it out for the chance to join the long-running children's programme's current hosts Barney Harwood and Helen Skelton in the presenting lineup.

Klass will sit on the panel alongside This Morning's Eamonn Holmes and 17-year-old kids presenter Ceallach Spellman, when the talent show starts next month.

She said of the role: "Everyone recalls the Blue Peter presenter they grew up with and I want to make sure I choose someone who will inspire the next generation."

Viewers at home will vote for the competition's winner out of the final three contestants selected by the judges.

The premise for the show - which will be hosted by Dick and Dom - was announced in March under the working title So You Think You Can Be A Blue Peter Presenter.

Misfits star Antonia Thomas joins Claire Skinner, Clare Higgins, Nicola Stephenson in portraying the remarkable wives and girlfriends of soldiers serving in war torn Afghanistan in ITV Studios new six part drama series Homefront.

The 6 x 60 minute drama tells the stories of the four service wives-and-girlfriends who fight their own battles on the home front while thousands of miles away their loved ones are facing up to the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Antonia plays Tasha who's husband Matt has headed out to Helmand to serve alongside his brother Tom. After a troubled upbringing by single mum Cheryl (Lorraine Ashbourne) Tasha’s even more determined to prove herself as a brilliant wife and good mother to toddler son, Alfie, but she doesn't always see eye-to-eye with mother-in-law Paula (Clare Higgins).
