Ready or Not Trailer: Hide and Seek Horror Comedy

Joseph Baxter Jun 17, 2019

Bill & Ted 3’s Samara Weaving stars in Ready or Not, a horror film that puts a deadly spin on meeting the in-laws.

Ready or Not is, apropos to its plot, counting down to the appropriate moment to unleash a mix of horror and comedy tropes on the moviegoing public. Indeed, for one bride, the typically tense scenario of meeting one’s in-laws gets put through the lens of a deadly sport that – besides being set inside the fancy-mansion atmosphere of a whodunnit – plays out more like The Running Man.

The film is headlined by a rising star in Samara Weaving, who, amongst recent highlights, just nabbed a co-starring role in the long-awaited threequel, Bill & Ted Face the Music.

The trailer for Ready or Not has arrived, revealing an intriguingly chaotic, levity-infused horror genre mishmash.

Stephen King's The Long Walk Gets Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark Director

The Long Walk is the latest Stephen King novel to get the big screen treatment. There are few names in entertainment as desirable as that of King's right now. Much of that has to do with the success of It in 2017, which went on to become the highest-grossing horror movie of all time. So, various studios are doing their best to emulate that success through the author's other works. Now, at long last, someone is going to be brave enough to tackle this exceedingly dark story.

According to a new report, New Line Cinema has closed a deal to turn The Long Walk into a movie, with Andre Ovredal set to direct. Ovredal is known for his work on movies such as The Autopsy of Jane Doe and the upcoming adaptation of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, which is being produced by Guillermo del Toro. The script was penned by James Vanderbilt who,

New Trailer & Poster for ‘The House With A Clock In It’s Walls’ Is Whimsically Delightful

Universal has unveiled a brand new trailer and poster for ‘The House With A Clock In It’s Walls‘ and it looks absolutely delightful. Although we saw a teaser trailer for the film a few months back, this trailer does a wonderful job of selling the magical family adventure. The film Stars Owen Vaccaro as Lewis, a boy who goes to live with his uncle (Jack Black) in an old creaky house. After discovering that Black’s character is a Warlock and that the house is indeed magical, Lewis accidentally awakens the dead, thrusting the two into a magical adventure.

Directed by Eli Roth, the film seems to have a great mix of comedy, mysticism and heart. Considering that Roth is known for his more violent, R-rated material, ‘The House With A Clock In It’s Walls‘ is a very welcome change for Roth. Although the film could easily be too whimsical,
