Here’s How Tom Hardy Could Look As The McU’s New Wolverine

If Venom and Wolverine were to share anything in common right now, it’s that moviegoers are pondering both their cinematic futures. When it comes to the former, things are a bit clearer, as Tom Hardy is set to return as Eddie Brock in a sequel directed by none other than Andy Serkis.

As for Logan, his outlook is trickier to forecast. Though I’m sure Marvel Studios will most certainly weave such an immensely popular character into their overall tapestry, they’re in no rush to do so after Dark Phoenix bombing at the box office. After all, the X-Men weren’t even factored into plans for Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Still, it’s fun pondering the possibilities of what tomorrow might bring. More often than not, it’s Tom Hardy who’s been fan-cast as Wolverine in online conversations these days, and I can certainly see why.

Here Are All The Fox Films That Disney Saved After The Merger

Though Disney’s recent acquisition of 21st Century Fox has seemingly led to the axing of quite a few projects, there are still plenty of upcoming films that look to have survived the transition, many of which are scheduled to hit theaters in the next couple of years.

For one thing, you have Underwater, the story of a crew of underwater researchers who must fight for their lives after an earthquake devastates their subterranean lab. With a cast that includes Kristen Stewart, T.J. Miller, Jessica Henwick and Vincent Cassel, the film is slated to come out on January 10th, 2020.

After that, Kingsman director Matthew Vaughn returns to the helm for The King’s Man, the confusingly titled prequel to the popular spy series. Set for release on February 14th, 2020, the film boasts a star-studded line-up, including Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Daniel Bruhl, Matthew Goode, Stanley Tucci, Djimon Hounsou and Charles Dance.

McU Will Give Fantastic Four the Movie They Deserve Promises Marvel Boss

Like many Marvel fans out there, I have been hoping for a killer adaptation of Fantastic Four ever since I saw director Bryan Singer's original X-Men movie in theaters back in 2000. But time and time again, Marvel's first family keeps hitting the screen in more and more disastrous forms. But that all looks to be changing soon as Marvel has just regained the rights to the comic and plans to make their own live-action version as quickly as possible. And today we have word via the President of Marvel Studios himself, Kevin Feige that this new movie will be better than the previous Fox versions.

Specifically, when asked what story will the new movie be telling that hasn't been told before, Kevin Feige responded with this.

"All of that is spoilers, but I am extremely excited about those characters and about bringing Marvel's first family up to the sort

Forget The Rumors, Emma Watts Staying At Fox/Disney

  • Deadline
Exclusive: Despite a wave of rumors she might be headed for the executives suites of Paramount or Warner Bros, Emma Watts is staying put at Fox/Disney. Deadline hears that the vice chairman and head of production is in the middle of formalizing a plan with the studio to stay on in the future and continue to steer Fox’s film division. There was no comment or confirmation from Disney.

Sources familiar with what’s going on there tell me that while Watts had to give up the Marvel properties that include Deadpool to Kevin Feige, her decision to continue was certainly incentivized by continuing to oversee the Avatar sequels generated by James Cameron. Those films will go a long way toward showing whether or not Disney’s acquisition of Fox was a good idea. Watts, I’m told, will be key to the relationship with Cameron, who has four

‘Stan & Ollie’ Filmmaker Jon S. Baird Signed To Direct A Matthew Vaughn-Produced Film, Rumored To Be ‘Kingsman 3’
Despite the second film in the franchise underperforming with critics and at the box office, the ‘Kingsman’ series is stronger than ever. Earlier this week, we got a first look at the upcoming prequel, which sees director Matthew Vaughn step behind the camera to give us the origins of the secret British spy organization. And we know that once that film is done, work is going to begin on the proper sequel to 2017’s ‘The Golden Circle.’ However, a new report states that Vaughn might not be the man behind the camera for “Kingsman 3.”

Deadline is reporting that Jon S.

‘Stan & Ollie’ Director Jon S. Baird Hired For Marv Films Movie Prompting ‘Kingsman’ Speculation
Exclusive: Stan & Ollie director Jon S. Baird has been hired to co-write and direct an as yet untitled Marv Films movie, taking him off recently announced Mel Gibson-Shia Labeouf starrer Rothchild.

Matthew Vaughn’s UK outfit, known for the Kingsman and Kick-Ass franchises, confirmed Baird’s hire for an “untitled Marv Films movie” but wouldn’t reveal more at this stage.

Rumor is that Baird is in line to direct ‘Kingsman 3’ (the project is still untitled), despite Vaughn having helmed the previous films in the series. All parties are keeping tight-lipped on this, however.

It was only a couple of months ago that Baird was announced as director on hot Cannes package Rothchild, which scored multiple pre-sales on the Croisette. At the time, Gibson’s involvement in a film whose title evokes a wealthy Jewish family caused some consternation on social media but this is not thought to

‘The King’s Man’ Trailer Showcases Secret Service’s Origins

  • Variety
Disney is promising plenty of sword-fighting, gunplay and devastation in its first teaser trailer for the Fox spy comedy prequel “The King’s Man.”

The studio unveiled a first look Monday that sets the stage for an origin story of the private British intelligence service, portrayed in the two previous films in the franchise: 2014’s “Kingsman: The Secret Service” and 2017’s “Kingsman: The Golden Circle.” Both were directed by Matthew Vaughn and grossed more than $800 million worldwide.

The footage sets the events in the early 1900s with scenes of wartime devastation. Ralph Fiennes is portraying the Duke of Oxford, while Harris Dickson is playing his new protégée. The duo is working against a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds — including the legendary Rasputin (Rhys Ifans) with a deadly gleam in his eye as he spins around while attacking with a sword.

In the clip, Fiennes’ character explains

‘Vita and Virginia’ Trailer: Elizabeth Debicki Is Virginia Woolf in Lesbian Romance

Per the official synopsis: “Set amidst the bohemian high society of 1920s England, ‘Vita & Virginia’ tells the scintillating true story of a literary love affair that fueled the imagination of one of the 20th century’s most celebrated writers. Vita Sackville-West (Gemma Arterton) is the brash,
