Viola Kates Stimpson was born on October 25, 1906 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. She was an actress, known for Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986), Nutty Professor II: The Klumps (2000) and Graduation Day (1981). She died on January 14, 2008 in Tarzana, California, USA.

Returned to college in 1951 and became a school teacher in Los Angeles until her retirement in 1971. She then resumed her acting career as a character actress.
Started her career as a dancer and chorine on stage during the 1920s.
She was the first "Star Trek" cast member to reach the age of 100. She was later followed by Ellen Albertini Dow, Olaf Pooley and Norman Lloyd.
