Personal make-up man for Marilyn Monroe in all of her films from Monkey Business (1952) (they met when he was assigned to do the make-up for her first screen test), and pallbearer at her funeral.
Portrayed by Joe D'Angerio in Norma Jean & Marilyn (1996), and Colin MacPherson in Blonde (2001).
Made a pact with close friend, Marilyn Monroe, that if she were to die before him, he would make-up her body for the funeral. When she passed away aged 36 in 1962, he fulfilled his promise.
