Arrow Season 4: Best And Worst Episodes, Ranked

After its third season was heavily criticized for being too dark, Arrow needed to redeem itself in its fourth season. Promised to be a lot brighter, season four also took a page out of The Flash’s book to make Oliver Queen’s (Stephen Amell) next threat not grounded. While the fastest man alive dealt with meta-humans, Arrow’s fourth year decided to introduce magic into the Arrowverse that was also busy setting up its newest spin-off, with Legends of Tomorrow. After being teased in the season three finale, Neal McDonough finally came in as the villainous Damien Darhk.

But that wasn’t the only twist that the fourth season promised, as we learned early on that a big character would be killed off. So there was a lot going on in this season for Arrow, to say the least. With that said,

‘Yellowstone’ Finale: A Recap & Taylor Sheridan Explains Harrowing Climax And Where Next For His Hit Western

  • Deadline
Spoilers Abound! In tonight’s tense season climax of his Paramount Network hit television series Yellowstone, Taylor Sheridan got as close as he could to the old fashioned frontier justice showdowns seen in films from High Noon to Wyatt Earp to Sheridan’s directorial debut Wind River. The Ruthless Beck Brothers — played with devilish gusto by Neal McDonough & Terry Serpico — overtook Season Two with their desire for Kevin Costner’s John Dutton to cut them into his Yellowstone Ranch, just as they wanted Danny Huston’s real estate developer Dan Jenkins and Gil Birmingham’s Chief Thomas Rainwater to cut them in on their action. The Becks were roundly turned down, and the blood begins to spill shortly after.

The Duttons got the full force of Beck retribution when John Dutton’s tough daughter Beth was attacked by two white supremacist thugs sent by the Beck Brothers. Her assistant was

Suits Promo: Mike and Harvey Cook Up 'One Last Con' as Series Finale Nears
The end of Suits is fast approaching and you know what that means: It’s time for one last con! At least that’s the suggestion Mike makes to Harvey in a new teaser for the show’s final four episodes. Yes, Patrick J. Adams is back for another encore, and as his legal whiz points out, Mike and Harvey “conned the world for years,” so they’re kind of experts at schemes.

Meanwhile, Harvey gets cuffed for conspiring with a federal prosecutor, and then punches Sean Cahill (returning guest star Neal McDonough). But if you thought getting arrested would

Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter is Captain Britain in Marvel’s What If…? image

During yesterday’s big Disney+ Showcase at the D23 Expo, the Mouse House shared a first-look image from the upcoming Marvel animated series What If…?, which features Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter as Captain Britain from a story that will reimagine the McU had Peggy undergone the super soldier treatment rather than Steve Rogers; check it out here…

Among the What If…? footage shown to those in attendance was a shot of the Winter Soldier battling a zombified Captain America (confirming the earlier speculation about a Marvel Zombies story) and Steve Rogers suited up in some Iron Man-style armor, while it was also confirmed that the series will consist of 23 episodes – the same number of McU movies released to date. Whether or not that means each movie will have its own specific episode is yet to be confirmed.

Footage From Marvel's Animated Series What If...? Features Peggy Carter as Captain Carter, Marvel Zombies, and More!

Marvel didn’t have a lot of footage to show off for most of the Disney+ series that they are developing. But, they did show some footage from their upcoming animated series What If…? and it turned out pretty radical and I think it’s going to surprise and impress the fans.

Marvel’s What If…? is going to to be freakin’ awesome! This was easily one of the best and most exciting projects that Disney showed off during their Disney+ presentation.

The series will include most of the McU cast reprising their roles in the series, which will examine the 23 past films in the McU, but each of the stories will feature one key difference showing how the story would have played out differently. The Watcher is the narrator of the series, and he will be voiced by Jeffrey Wright.

Almost Entire McU Cast Set To Return For What If…?

As if the new Disney Plus show What If…? didn’t sound exciting enough already, it’s just been revealed that practically everyone from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be returning to voice their characters. This spectacular lineup of talents includes Michael B. Jordan, Sebastian Stan, Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Hemsworth, Hayley Atwell, Chadwick Boseman, Karen Gillan, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Neal McDonough, Dominic Cooper, Sean Gunn, Natalie Portman, David Dastmalchian, Stanley Tucci, Taika Waititi, Toby Jones, Djimon Hounsou, Jeff Goldblum, Michael Rooker and Chris Sullivan. It’s hard to ask for a better cast than that!

Still, there are some notable omissions from the aforementioned list. Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Tom Holland, Tessa Thompson, Zoe Saldana, Jon Favreau, Elizabeth Olsen and more are all absent. While it’s easy to explain Holland’s disappearance given that Spider-Man is no longer a part of the McU,

Yellowstone Season 2 Episode 9 Review: Enemies By Monday

This Yellowstone review contains spoilers.

Yellowstone Season 2, Episode 9

As with the majority of the Yellowstone season 2 episodes that came before it, “Enemies by Monday” begins with a nugget or two of wisdom from ranch patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Costner). “It’s the one constant in life,” he tells his son and chosen heir, Kayce (Luke Grimes). “You build something worth having, someone’s gonna try and take it.” And much like his episode-starting comments in “Behind Us Only Grey” and “Resurrection Day,” John’s words are far more applicable than he realizes.

Specifically, in the case of his grandson Tate, the child of Kayce and his estranged wife Monica (Kelsey Asbille). Now that the little boy and his mother have returned to the Dutton family, John has been spending a lot of

Sega addresses Sonic the Hedgehog movie backlash and redesign

Unlike the likes of Ubisoft (which now has its own film department) and Nintendo (notoriously protective of its IP since 1993’s Super Mario Bros.), fellow video game giant Sega is taking a much more hands off approach with regards to Hollywood adaptations of its various properties, including Paramount’s upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie.

Speaking to GamesIndustry, Sega Europe COO and president Gary Dale has explained why the company isn’t involving itself with Sonic, stating that: “I think there’s a view here that we’re very good at making video games and Paramount is very good at making pictures… This is a film. I think the idea that you try to control Paramount would be the wrong approach… Over the years, I look at the success of game franchises in film and it’s very mixed. The idea that games makers can control the process and create great movies…

Yellowstone Season 2 Episode 8 Review: Behind Us Only Grey

Something bad is coming... but not until the next episode of Yellowstone.

This Yellowstone review contains spoilers.

Yellowstone Season 2 Episode 8

Despite the fact that last week’s episode, “Resurrection Day,” ended with the apparent salvation of Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley), longtime viewers of Yellowstone should have known that everything wasn’t going to be okay. And while this week’s episode, “Behind Us Only Grey,” doesn’t necessarily do anything to utterly destroy this faulty belief, it spends a lot of time laying the groundwork for an explosive, violent and disparaging end to the show’s second season.

Sure, Jamie is attempting to recover himself after murdering the reporter Sarah (Michaela Conlin), and yes, Beth (Kelly Reilly) has been saved from further violations and certain death, but the siblings’ psychological and physical scars are on full display throughout the episode. What’s more, despite patriarch John’s

Yellowstone Season 2 Episode 7 Review: Resurrection Day

Yellowstone season 2 swings for the most jagged and ill-made fences.

This Yellowstone review contains spoilers.

With the second season premiere of Succession looming on HBO this weekend and Billions on a break over at Showtime, the latest episode of Paramount’s own take on the popular “obscenely rich and deplorable families” genre firmly made its case. As strong (and weak) as the Duttons, their allies, and their enemies may seem, everyone in this program amounts to the same thing: caricatures of unforgivable violence and mayhem that, no matter how much audiences are pushed to empathize with them, are wholly beyond salvation.

Consider an otherwise tender moment between siblings Jamie (Wes Bentley) and Beth (Kelly Reilly) in the first five minutes of “Resurrection Day.”

“You know what's so dangerous about you?" she says. "You justify every act before you commit them. You're consumed with the world's perception of you.

Jim Carrey speaks out on backlash to Sonic the Hedgehog movie design

Fans of the iconic video game franchise Sonic the Hedgehog were outraged back at the start of May when Paramount Pictures unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming live-action feature film adaptation, with the filmmakers’ interpretation of the iconic Sega mascot coming under heavy fire for straying too far from the traditional Sonic look.

As a result of the outcry, the producers announced that they would be delaying the release of the movie in order to overhaul Sonic’s look to a more faithful design – a decision which Jim Carrey (who is playing Sonic’s arch-nemesis Dr. Robotnik) doesn’t seem to be overly enthused about.

“It’s an interesting thing,” said Carrey (via EW). “You just become their Frankenstein monster at some point, right? But I don’t know. I don’t know quite how I feel about the audience being in on the creation of it while it’s happening.

Stephen Amell Teases Another Mystery Guest Star For Arrow Season 8

Production on the eighth and final season of Arrow is now underway, and star Stephen Amell has been documenting as much as he can of it without spoiling anything on social media. In particular, as the show is winding down, he’s taking the time to thank the cast and crew on Instagram as each subsequent episode wraps. In his latest post, following completion of episode 2, the actor has teased that another mystery guest star will turn up on season 8.

Someone Amell thanks in the video below is an as-yet-unannounced returning player, whom he calls “gracious” for coming back to the series. Whoever this is follows on from Colin Donnell and Josh Segarra, who’ve previously been confirmed to be reprising their roles as Tommy Merlyn and Prometheus in the final run.

Yellowstone Season 2 Episode 6

“You want to be me someday? Then become something that can help me protect this place,” a younger, less grizzled John Dutton tells his son Jamie after revealing that he applied to Harvard University on the boy’s behalf. “A lawyer.”

When Jamie, who balks at the chance to live and study in a place that’s as “far away” as Boston, points out that his father doesn’t respect lawyers, John rebuffs him. “Then become one that I can… Lawyers are the swords of this century. Words are weapons now. I need you to learn how to use them.”

As mildly touching as this exchange between a father and his son is, the opening of this week’s episode of Yellowstone,
