She said if I enrol you in ballet you really have to be committed. So, I started Ballet when I was seven and you know how little kids I are didn’t want to practise, but

  • Nerdly
Stars: John McCafferty, Robyn Blythe, Darwyn Carson, Beano, Debra Lamb, Mark Lasky, Bill Whitehead, Kent Butler | Written and Directed by Mark Pirro

I have an a long history with Deathrow Gameshow, just not a history that actually involves seeing the film however! You see, when I was in college I used to spend all my free time at a local flea market scouring the stalls for ex-rental VHS tapes. And I stocked up big time. However there was one film I never bought but one that seemed to follow me everywhere I went… Deathrow Gameshow. Every stall seemed to have a copy of the old VHS tape but each and Every tape had issues: mold, damage, torn cover, etc. So I never bought it; and – unless I missed it – the film never made the transition to DVD here in England…

But now comes the Vinegar Syndrome Blu-ray which features

B-Sides: Keep Left of The Invisible Maniac

Before directing Detroit Rock City and unleashing a giant sperm on New York City in the “Wadzilla” segment of Chillerama, Adam Rifkin introduced the world to a horny, psychopathic phantom known as The Invisible Maniac. Not enough movie maniacs have their own personal theme songs, if you ask me.

Working under the alias “Rif Coogan”, Rifkin helmed this 1990 T&A slasher comedy about a sexually repressed nerd named Kevin Dornwinkle, who grows up to invent invisibility only to be mocked by his colleagues. The stinging mockery drives him over the edge so he murders them. He escapes from an insane asylum and goes incognito as a summer school teacher, where he continues to perfect his invisibility formula while taking an unhealthy interest in student bodies, particularly those of scream queens Melissa Moore, Debra Lamb, and the late porn star Savannah.

I’m fairly certain Rifkin is one of the many

Jonathan "Sleepaway Camp" Tiersten joins the cast of Drive-In Massacre

With Drive-In Massacre producer Brandon Sites promised sex, drugs, a drive-in and, of course, a massacre. He then went on to ponder "what else could you want?". ...well, there was one thing missing. How about a little rock n' roll? Jonathan Tiersten, who so memorably starred in Sleepaway Camp, Return to Sleepaway Camp & The Perfect House, has just signed on to star in Drive-In Massacre.

Jonathan Tiersten is able to convey that bad boy sensibility effortlessly. There is something inherently exciting and dangerous about that kind of persona on screen which seamlessly lends itself to a slasher. He was that missing element that will bring it all together in Drive-In Massacre.

Drive-In Massacre is about a cursed drive-in movie theater. A group of college aged kids who ignored all the signs. Now, one fateful night he will make them pay for their indiscretions.... in Blood!!!

Updated look into "Mountain of the Flesheaters"

Joe Hollow

From Joe Hollow, the director behind the indie slasher event of 2011 – “Cut”, and executive producers Shawn Allen & Debra Lamb comes "Mountain of the Flesh Eaters". Inspired by a short story written by Shawn Allen, Mountain of the Flesh Eaters follows in the terrifying tradition of such horror classics as The Hills Have Eyes & The Texas Chain Saw Massacre as a series of brutal, unrelenting murders plague a small town and the sheriff that gets caught up in the chaos.

Looking to join the ranks alongside those classics, Mountain of the Flesh Eaters will actually be told from the point of view of the flesh eating, blood thirsty cannibals themselves. With Mountain of the Flesh Eaters, film writer Joe Hollow is looking to get beyond the stereotypical characterizations and get to the heart of what makes these cannibals who they are. What makes them tick? What makes them engage in these cannibalistic activities?
