“As one of the foundingLegends of Tomorrow, Brandon is extremely beloved by the fans and everyone on the show,” they continued. “Of course, when we have had main characters in the past whose journeys take them away from the Waverider, it’s never truly goodbye. We love these characters and hope to check in with them in future seasons,

The CW Reveals Its Future Plans For Constantine

Following the cancellation of his eponymous series after only 13 episodes on NBC, Matt Ryan’s iteration of John Constantine has amazingly thrived over at The CW. Since first being welcomed into the fold during Arrow‘s fourth season, the demonologist migrated over to Legends of Tomorrow, and even headlined an animated film/web series in the form of Constantine: City of Demons. It’s also worth mentioning that Ryan voiced the character in Justice League Dark, though that project was unrelated to the Arrowverse.

Understandably, legions of viewers have wondered if indeed The CW will allow for Constantine to headline a series of his own yet again, this time under their roof. Regrettably, the network’s president, Mark Pedowitz said there have been no talks regarding doing any such thing while speaking at the recent TCA press event – but we’ll continue seeing the exorcist playing a prominent role on Legends of Tomorrow.

Can Legends Season 5 Make Historical Deplorables 'Fun'? Plus Scoop on Sara's Power and a Superman's Return

The Legends of Tomorrow may not be resuming their missions until 2020, but luckily the CW series stopped by TVLine’s San Diego Comic-Con suite on Friday to share an early peek at Season 5.

After getting Dominic Purcell to open up about his season-ending crooning of “Sweet Baby James,” the topic turned to the day’s big news, that Brandon Routh will once again suit up as the Man of Steel — as he did in 2006’s Superman Returns — for the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover.

Legends of Tomorrow Season 5 Story Details Revealed

Jim Dandy Jul 18, 2019

Legends of Tomorrow season 5 will be about the impact of fame, and the first episode goes the Spinal Tap route.

Legends of Tomorrow, the best comic book show on television by an entire geologic epoch, is hard at work getting the next season ready, and it sounds like it's going to blast out of the gates with its first episode.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the team behind the show revealed not only the point of next season, but the style of the first episode: a mockumentary.

"We’re interested in how fame affects people,” executive producer Phil Klemmer told EW. “I really like the idea of tempting the Legends, that they’re still susceptible. Even though they sort of get over themselves after [the first episode] I think you could always be tempted by the promise of getting to be a singular franchise-driving superhero.”

Legends of Tomorrow Boss Confirms [Spoiler]'s Exit, Breaks Down Crossover Tease and Season 5's Big Bad

Legends of Tomorrow Boss Confirms [Spoiler]'s Exit, Breaks Down Crossover Tease and Season 5's Big Bad
For the Legends of Tomorrow to survive their latest season-ending showdown, a sacrifice had to be made. But the team member who volunteered to give their own life wound up not being the one to go.

Instead, the Legends sustained a different loss.

Constantine and Nora (in Fairy Godmother mode) traveled to Hell, where they enlisted a shady Astra to break into Neron’s vault and procure the coin that represents Ray’s soul. But to reunite Ray’s soul — currently in the midst of a Giant Jenga match with Vandal Savage (!) — with his body, Nate would need to die,

Legends Of Tomorrow Suit Up As The Trinity In Season 4 Finale Photos

Now that Legends of Tomorrow‘s fourth season is nearly at its end, I think we can all agree that the show is more insane than ever before. Last season, it became obvious how the producers wanted to have more fun with the series and further differentiate it from the rest of the Arrowverse. And now, the firm establishment of magical creatures’ existence has opened up a new level of zaniness.

Speaking of which, such beings look to factor heavily into the season finale, “Hey, World!” From what we can gather, the Waverider crew aim to show the public at large that most of the mystical persuasion are actually harmless. This is, of course, in stark contrast to what Neron is leading everybody to believe as he continues masquerading as Ray Palmer.

If you need something to tide you over while you wait for this spring’s concluding episode, then

Legends of Tomorrow: Caity Lotz Teases Tap Dancing, Suiting Up (as Supergirl!)
It will take some fancy, literal footwork for Legends of Tomorrow‘s Sara and Ava to reclaim control of the Time Bureau, now that it is under siege by Neron and his lady love Tabitha aka the Fairy Godmother.

In this Monday’s episode (The CW, 8/7c), “Jes [Macallan] and I tap dance,” Legends frontwoman Caity Lotz shared during a visit to TVLine’s New York office. And though Lotz is well known for her sick moves, “I am not a tap dancer,” she laments. “I did it in, like, sixth grade and I hated it.” But then again, the

How Legends Called an Emergency Meeting to Punch Up Nate and Zari's Hot Date... With Adventure

It took a first-of-its-kind emergency for The CW’s Legends of Tomorrow to send Nate and Zari on a proper first date — with over-the-top Nazis.

The first episode of May Sweeps — titled “Egg MacGuffin” and airing Monday at 8/7c — “is sort of the culmination of the Nate and Zari romance that we’ve been teasing for quite a while now,” showrunner Phil Klemmer shares.

“The preceding episode was all about whether Zari (played by Tala Ashe) would text Nate (Nick Zano), and what she would text him, which is the most frivolous plotline we’ve ever had in the history of the show,

Legends of Tomorrow Boss Breaks Down Sara/Ava Twist — and How an Ikea Trip Figures Into Their Future
The only thing sadder than snubbed Snickerdoodles is the circumstances under which they came into play in Legends of Tomorrow‘s midseason premiere.

In the wake of the Kaupe escaping the Time Bureau after Hank’s Men in Black tried to abduct him, theories abounded about who was to blame. Once Nate and Zari pinched a file from Hank’s phone that proved a security cam had been tinkered with — confirming that Mona did not set the magical creature free — the Legends were pitted against the Time Bureau just like in the olden days. So as her team did everything

Legends of Tomorrow Boss Opens Up About Season 4's Big Bad Switcheroo, Teases Visit to a 'Stodgy' Hell

A funny thing happened when DC’s Legends of Tomorrow cast Season 4’s Big Bad last summer: they turned out to really like Biff Tannen.

As the Arrowverse’s very wild child resumes Season 4 tonight at 8/7c on The CW, viewers will not only get a front row seat to circa 1960s Mexican wrestling, they will start to witness a handing off of the Big Bad baton from Nate Heywood’s father, Hank (played by Back to the Future‘s Tom Wilson), to Neron, the demon whose bidding the Pentagon bigwig has unwittingly been doing.

“Before Nate’s father was Tom Wilson,
