Stage actress (on Broadway from 1925), who played a few small roles in minor Hollywood films of the 1930's.
Redheaded B-movie actress, first on the professional stage with the Yonkers Stock Company and later in Louisville, Kentucky. Brought to Hollywood under contract to MGM but made little headway. Returned to the screen in 1948 after a 13-year hiatus as a small part supporting player.
