William "Will" Jordan is a veteran actor of over forty-five years of stage, screen and television experience with over 50 TV and film credits to his resume, Jordan played Major Jake Gatlin in the syndicated television series "Project UFO". Jordan, who usually appeared in roles as either authority, particularly military, police, and political figures in dramas and heavies in westerns, also portrayed the late U.S. President John F. Kennedy in the critically acclaimed 1978 NBC-TV miniseries "King". He also has made appearances in such TV shows as Mannix, The Big Valley, The Rockford Files, Knots Landing, T.J. Hooker, and Walker, Texas Ranger. A graduate of Indiana University, Will got his start in theatre in bit or supporting parts in several On and Off-Broadway productions.

Trivia (2)

Played on the Milan High School Basketball team when they won the state championship in 1954. Milan's win of the state title was the basis for the movie Hoosiers (1986).
Currently resides in Florida. [January 2010]
